JAMES SHARP, LEAD PASTOR Originally from Dallas, James came to Capitol City in August 2013 after twelve years of pastoral ministry in Amarillo, Texas. A graduate of West Texas A&M University (B.A. Music Education) in Canyon, Texas, and Wheaton College Graduate School (M.A. Biblical Exegesis) in Wheaton, Illinois.   James and his wife Kristen have three sons, Hudson, Isaac, and Carson, and one daughter, Elliot.  James enjoys history, reading, and running (though not very fast). He also maintains an unhealthy obsession with the Boston Red Sox.

	RUSTY MILLER, PASTOR OF ADULT MINISTRIES Rusty’s desire to serve Christ began shortly after his personal conversion as a teenager in Rapid City, SD. He earned an associate degree from Dakota Bible College and a BA in Pastoral Ministries from Nebraska Christian College. He joined our staff in July 1986 as Director of Student Ministries; became the Director of Adult Ministries and Small Groups in 1998; and in 2006, Rusty became the Director of Ministries helping to oversee all ministries. He and his wife Connie are the parents of Kayla, Jayme and Austin.

	TODD GROVE, PASTOR OF WORSHIP MINISTRIES Todd earned his B.S. in Agronomy from North Dakota State University in Fargo and has taken graduate work at Pacific Christian College and the International School of Theology in California. Before joining our staff in 1995, he traveled with the Continental Singers and served the Crossroads Christian Church in Corona, CA. He and his wife Karen are the parents of Tyler and Ajana.

	LAYNE ROLOFSON, PASTOR OF ADMINISTRATION Layne has been a member of CCCC since 1980. He and his wife Jeanette, along with their daughters Megan, Sarah, Jelayna and Chelsea, have long been involved with the life of the church. Layne taught high school classes, served as chairman of the deacons, and as an elder for a 3-year term. Layne earned his B.S. in Agronomy/Mechanized Agriculture from UNL in 1980. He was a partner in a farming corporation for 20 years before joining the CCCC staff in April of 2001.

	JOSH BARRETT, PASTOR OF CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES Josh was born and raised in Gering, Nebraska and is a graduate of Nebraska Christian College.  Both during and after college, he had the opportunity to work with the children’s ministries of various churches.  Josh has spent the last seven years serving as children’s pastor at a Christian church in Oklahoma.  He is looking forward to being back in Nebraska and closer to home. He enjoys watching sports, playing golf and being around people.  Josh is thankful for the many blessings God has provided and is looking forward to the opportunities that await here at Capitol City Christian Church.
